Emblemtek distributes various high-speed thermal label printing systems that allow users to create their own garment identification labels in-house. These labels are laundry resistant and are primarily used to identify garments through the rental and laundering process. The thermal printing systems are capable of printing text and numerical based information and even bar code data on to polyester and polymer based fabric labels. Data can be printed using various software programs as key entered, or can be integrated with database systems for automated printing. Newer generation thermal systems are leading the way, capable of printing 50 to 150 labels per minute with 200 or 300 dot-per-inch resolutions.
