Emblemtek Solutions Group

Emblemtek recognizes that healthy and safe working conditions and practices are vital to achieving business excellence.  Therefore, the Company aims to conduct its business in a manner that presents no risk of injury or ill health to its employees, suppliers, customers or visitors.  As part of its legal requirement to maintain a safe and healthy working environment, Management enforces Emblemtek’s safety polices and standards in harmony with a Joint Health and Safety Committee.

Safety is an ongoing concern, and is a process of continuous improvement that relies primarily on the systematic identification, assessment and control of hazards and risks, underpinned by awareness of the relevant legislative requirements. Additionally Emblemtek periodically sets objectives, targets and measurements to monitor the structure and activities of all safety and clean-workplace programs.  The objective of the Company’s policies, and the standards and regulations therein, are to maintain the lowest possible health and safety risk factors.

The success of Emblemtek’s clean-workplace standards and safety policies requires the involvement and commitment of every team member within the Company.  However, Emblemtek bares the responsibility of worker health and safety.  The Executives of the Company promise that the goals and standards will be maintained, with every possible precaution taken to protect all workers.  Management and Supervisors are responsible for the health and safety of all employees within their jurisdictions.  They must ensure that the work environment and all working tools (machinery, furniture, equipment…) are safe.  Through job training, task training and process training, each employee is made aware of their roles in ensuring that their own work is done safely, that equipment is used properly and that co-workers are supported.

Likewise, every worker is responsible for their own health and safety by working within the guidelines of their tasks, the guidelines with regard to the use of all working tools (machinery, furniture, equipment…) and the standards set forth by Management, Supervisors and the Company as a whole.  Employees must adhere to the warning and safety signs posted throughout the plant and/or on specific pieces of equipment.  Employees must also work within the parameters of the law, as will the Company.  In turn, employees are encouraged to ask questions and to make suggestions to further improve the manner in which work is done, and also ways do the work more safely without compromise.

Emblemtek is committed to making available adequate resources to fulfill these opportunities and policies, and the Company relies on all team members to work in tandem with the Joint Health and Safety Committee as it regularly monitors all aspects of work-process, safety assurances and potential gaps in the program.  In that light, Management also ensures that employees are working in accordance with policies and standards in effect, and that all possible health and safety practices and procedures are met.

All employees, including Management and Executives, will benefit from the awareness of the policies and standards set, while keeping health and safety at the forefront of daily operations.  The Company recognizes the benefits of providing a safe, healthy, clean and pleasant working environment, so that employees have the chance to excel at their job functions, with the assurance that all reasonable and possible steps are being met to maintain this environment.
